*All team applications are subject to verification of current & vaild U.S. medical certification. (If applicant is retired, please note.) Team member acceptance is based upon medical experience, expertise needed and time of application. Final member approval lies solely at the discretion of the World Mission Possible board and mission team leader.

1.) Ghana, West Africa
A medical mission to rural areas of northwestern Ghana, West Africa, to focus on
primary medical care, HIV/AIDs training workshops, dentistry, prenatal care and infectious tropical
diseases. Areas: Lawra, Ekotsi-Bogyano, N^gani and Nalogni.

2.) Rep. of South Africa
A medical mission to provide free relief and medical care to Zimbabwean refugees at the Mission Central, Johannesburg, working with the South African Methodist Volunteers in Missions. The team will also travel to Swaziland and work with an orphanage in Manzini, Swaziland.
We will provide medical care, HIV/AIDs workshops and donation of medical supplies for
patients.
The dates of the upcoming mission are:
July 10-29, 2009 (flexible dates in July/August)
3.) Cameroon, Africa
A medical mission to northwest provinces in Cameroon, Africa (primarilt in Ntumbaw and Njirong
villages) . Services to focus on primary medical care, HIV/AIDs training workshops, prenatal care and infectious tropical diseases.
There will also be a reforestation project to focus on the replacement of eucalyptus trees and the planting
of indigenous trees in rural areas in northwestern Cameroon. People with reforestation experience, water
engineering or agriculture expertise are welcome.

4.) Romania
A medical and humanitarian mission to provide medical care to elderly patients in a nursing home and
humanitarian support to orphanage.
We will provide primary medical care, care and support for orphans, and the donation of mecial supplies.

5.) New Orleans, Louisiana 
Medical team - RNs, MDs, and PAs are needed to provide free clinical and wellness care
to Hurricane Katrina-hit area of the Ninth Ward in New Orleans. The team will also donate free OTC meds, and gently used coats and blankets - please contact roxanerichter@yahoo.com for information on donations.

6.) St. Vincent & The Grenadines 
Medical team - RN, MDs, dentists, etc. are needed. A special call from the country's Medical Relief Association is out looking for certain specialties, including: cardiologists, nephrologists, and dentists. The team will be working in a hospital and are needed for a seven-day trip only.

Team member must meet all of the WMP team leader^s "Minimum Standards of Practice & Qualifications" for team participation. * While some independent travel MAY BE allowed before/after a World Missions Possible team trip, World Missions Possible is not responsible
& will NOT REIMBURSE participant for personal travel expenses
(outside of the agreed upon & stated expenses for lodging & travel during the mission, etc.).
* World Missions Possible is NOT RESPONSIBLE for any illnesses, injuries, liabilities, etc. incurred by any team memeber during their travel during and to/from their mission. Team members are encouraged to provide their own travel/medical/liability insurance coverage.
* There are a limited number of openings for non-medical personnel (translators, volunteers, etc.) --- Acceptance of any & all team members lies solely at the discretion of the World Missions Possible board & mission team leader/coordinator.
