We had 5 licensed optometrists, 3 licensed opticians, 2 MDs, 4 RNs, 1 EMT, 5 UTMB medical students, 15 University of Houston VOSH volunteers and many, many more wonderful volunteers! We had 8 wonderful doctors, 2 RNs, 2 optometrists, and 2 other medical volunteers. Additionally, we had many “helping hands” as volunteers, including: Jordie Chalupnik, Kris Wessale, Alberto Williams, Virginia Campbell, Mike Allison, Heather Martin, Merridy Pyer, and Sheila and Stephanie from Celebracion. Donations Made to Women's Center in Kono, Koidu
SUCCESS! World Missions Possible recently shipped a 20-foot container packed with equipment and medications, including an ultrasound, x-ray unit, two defibrillators, 220 spinal anesthesia trays and more to the Sierra Leone Ebola Clinic. A special thank you to Clear Lake Regional Medical Center's Executive Committee, which recently donated $20,000 to World Missions Possible's Sierra Leone 2012 & 2013 Medical Outreach. Sierra Leone Medical Outreach Update
As you see from the photos, we were busy working with three facilities: The Jennifer Wright Pediatric Clinic (serves 2,000+ patients per month in Freetown); Wellbodi Amputee Clinic (serves 2,500+ patients per month in Kono) and the 300-bed Koidu Government Hospital (Koidu). WMP Completes Construction of School and Dual-Purpose Church and Clinic Facility in Witches Village,
